I wrote a poem on love as legacy.

As we think about legacy may we know
it’s crafted in high times but more so in low
Legacy is built in our daily deeds
It’s a painting that’s uniquely you or me
Legacy is scripted each calendar day
in the way that we live and give love away
Legacy’s non-fiction, devoid of pretense
It’s real and raw, based on true life events
It’s not what we get, and it's not who we best
It’s how we live, what we give, and how we leave the rest
May your legacy include rising above
hate, division and fear
to be a life lived with love.
